Food Uses

Jack fruit seeds are taken from the ripe fruits are sold for boiling or roasting like chestnuts.
Jack fruits that are sliced and peeled unripe are commonly sold in Southeast Asia

Harvesting

Jack fruits are harvested between 3-8 months out of the year.
If the fruit is not ripening the have to cut and "X" in the centre of it to 
speed the ripening and to improve flavours for sauces and dinner meals.

  • Surplus on pesticides are now polluting rivers and lakes.
  • Creates bad odor's because of the agricultural waste.
  • Fertilizers are killing the wildlife and making less and less of animals.
